1. What this covers
This applies to:
- Your time logs, active timers, categories, and planning data
- Metrics, body measurements, daily check-ins, and weekly check-ins
- Mood, energy, life, work, and health scores you enter
- Photos, videos, generated render jobs, and related metadata
- Firebase/Auth account data and device or local sync metadata
- Local browser data stored in IndexedDB or similar browser storage
- Insights generated by Maeve
Maeve is in controlled beta. Please do not use Maeve to store emergency-critical information.
2. How data is used
Your data is used to:
- Identify patterns
- Generate insights
- Help you understand your time
- Sync your own data across devices when cloud sync is enabled
- Store media and create generated videos when you request those features
3. AI processing
Maeve uses AI to analyze your data.
Important:
- Outputs are generated, not factual guarantees
- AI identifies patterns, not truth
- Results may be incomplete or incorrect
- Maeve does not provide medical, health, psychological, financial, or emergency advice
4. Data sharing
Your data may be processed by:
- AI service providers
- Infrastructure, authentication, database, storage, analytics, and render providers
Only to operate Maeve.
Never for resale.
5. What we do not do
We do not:
- Sell your data
- Use data for ads
- Build external profiles
- Make automated decisions outside the product
- Claim your signed-in account data is anonymous
6. Control
You remain in control.
Maeve surfaces patterns — you decide what to do.
You can clear local browser data from Settings. That clears Maeve data from the current browser only and does not delete cloud data, uploaded media, generated videos, or your Firebase/Auth account.
7. Retention
Data is retained only as necessary to operate Maeve, improve the beta, and meet legal obligations.
Where possible:
- Data is minimized
- Older data may be anonymized
For manual media deletion requests, we aim to remove both the media metadata and matching storage object where we can identify them. Generated videos and render jobs may need to be requested separately from source photo deletion.
